Atom vs Nova sound differences

Driving the same speakers, are there likely to be fairly noticeable sound differences between the two at similar moderate listening levels? I've demo'd the atom, and it was impressive, but I'd hold off for the nova if it was likely to improve the sound. confused

Since the Nova isn't officially released yet (and I'll only have my Atom by the end of this month) it's a bit difficult to answer this question. But yes, I think there will be a notable difference in sound quality, because of the price difference it should be so, isn't it?

Some of us have heard the Nova, but not, of course, the final production version, which may not be identical. It certainly has plenty of extra power to drive more demanding speakers, and greater detail and more refinement. The Atom is still a lot of fun, though.
