Early CDS with XPS2 Black Burndy?

I am looking at an early run CDS head unit . Please don't comment on the fact that these Cd players are risky. or that the Grey Burndy cable can be converted. My question is: Will the Black Burndy fit the CDS connector on the back of the player? What about a late production CDS? Thanks.

You cannot use either an XPS or the XPS Burndy with a CDS head unit. You must use a CDPS and if it has a white spot then both head unit and CDPS must both have it. If you want to use the superior black Burndy then you should look out for the S-CDPS Burndy.
