The Trip To Spain

Have just finished watching this (on DVD as don't have SKY Atlantic...)

Still amusing but a little dark and sombre too often and I'm afraid for me didn't hit the highs of the first two series.  I feel The Trip and Italy both had the balance tipped just that bit more towards the locations  over Steve and Rob and were better for it.

And I while I get the references to the men of adventure and his romantic outlook prompting Steve to do what he does at the end, it's an ending which doesn't really gel. It's a bit like the Crimson Permanent Assurance popping up.

Entertained but a little disappointed.
