Vertere D-Fi USB

Posted by: ThatsNotMyNaim on 19 August 2017

Hi all,

I have tested many micro USB cables including expensive ones. Ones from Australia and the likes. Never thought much of any of them. Always preferring 15cm stock Hugo cable with my Hugo2.

I ordered a Vertere D-Fi (Single) from a shop in London for trial.

Superb cable. Finally something that beats the stock USB. Tighter/punchier bass/sound, clearer vocals and more cohesive. No dynamics squashed or restricted. Very musical and open. Less compressed sounding. Just flows more and feels more natural.

Highly recommend. Someone here recomended it previously.

System:

ProAc 118, Epic/Sig links, Sugden A21 (Powerline), Shawline, Hugo2, Vertere USB, Zenith (Powerline), WAV rips.

A bit light on the Naim these days. :/

Cheers

Adam

It's fantastic isn't it

Yes buying a Hugo 2 is back to that old source first advice, and it sounds great with any decent amplifier.... but better with Naim of course

Super.

And yes Hugo2 was chosen over speaker and amp upgrade. It offered more music in a morr natural way.
