Hello to all

I have a hi cap 2 dr connected, could it be a problem no dr hicap?
thank you so muc
Yes. One supplies each channel
I live across the pond, in the United States of America, Trump Land.
Pre- loved HI Caps, plus or minus $100:
HCDR~ $1300
00DR~ $1000
{The UK, I don't have a clue!}
The advantage you guys have, you can go to your local authorized Naim dealer and ask for a loaner, doesn't cost you one red penny.
Over here, it's another story! If I were you, I would consider a trip, to your local Naim Dealer.
A win win Scenario:
You don't mind having extra PS laying around the house, if you decide to upgrade to a SC.
Of Course, you could always, utilize the second hand market.
Meanwhile, The Dealer can decrease his Inventories!
Give it a try, the less expensive none Dr HC, and the more expensive HCDR.
Seriously, I doubt if anyone can tell the difference between:
SCDR
SC
{HCDR}
HCDR & HCDR
HCDR & HC
HC & HC
But what do I know, I just sit at home and listen to my HCDR, just like you!
Cdx2 > HCDR > 282 > (3 x 250.2) > Fraimlite
Tri-Amped Briks!
But more important, it's about YOU, get over to your local Naim Dealer, first thing in the Morning! LOL...
Enjoy Your Music!

PS. An expensive hobby we share.
{The upside, Naim resale value!}

It won't break anything using two different regulator type Hi-Caps but the solution won't be optimum due to the way the 282 utilises the rails.
I'd just stick the one you find best on to the 282 and then add a Supercap later on.

Wish we could do that in Trump Land!
Allante93!
PS. I do agree with you James!
Like you say, it won't break anything!
And it doesn't cost you anything!
And it's your Hobby!

+1 I used two Hi-caps with my 282 because I had a spare from an equipment change. Two was noticably better than just one but, as James notes, it would be wiser for most folks to go directly from a single Hi-Cap to a Supercap in terms of a cost/value. That was the really BIG change for the better.
