How do I search for radio stations on the mu-so??
Posted by: Amberdaze on 25 August 2017
I honestly can't believe I have to ask this question what are name doing? How do I search for a radio station should be pretty easy to do but it isn't
Can anyone help pls ?
Thank you
Just press iRadio on the app and follow the screens. Once you have found it, make it a favourite. Reorder the favourites in the app so your top 5 are 1 to 5. Then press 'radio' on the Qb to cycle through your top five. Is that what you were asking?
The app is somewhat primitive in this respect, as it has no global search. So you need to know where to look. If, for example, you were to search for Radio Paradise, you would have to know, not only that it was based in N America, but that it was in California. At this point you can just scroll down to P to find it, so the search facility becomes quite useful if you have forgotten your alphabet.
Thanks for that Chris
HH, this might sound stupid but yesterday evening I was trying to reorder my favourite radio stations and I can't recall how to do this. I know it used to be pretty straighforward, but is it possible this option has been changed over the recent updates?
Coincidentally I've just done that with mine, literally 5 minutes ago
App > Edit Presets > touch the station name (keeping finger contact with the screen) & it moves slightly to the left, then it will move up or down in the station list order, remove finger, touch Home & thats it. Probably easier to do yourself (self intuitive) than describe
Go to the bottom of the list on the app. Press 'edit presets'. Drag them into the order you want. Press the Home button. Job done.
Thank you for you swift reply! I can see the 'edit presets' on my mu-so Qb but not on my Uniti Atom ...
Ah well, can't help you there!
What happens when you make an edit move on the app ?? (where HH & I said to do i) Does that get replicated on the Atom & Qb
Both mu-so and Atom have their own presets, independant from eachother ...

OK, it was just a thought. But if they have their own independant presets means I can scrap that one. If however it does turn out that the player preset displays don't replicate the app, Naim have (maybe) missed a trick.
I'll drop Phil an email tomorrow ... nevertheless, very satisfied over here!
And got a swift reply (as always):
"This is due to be added to the app in an upcoming app update …"
