don't think so. For that you need iOS or android device.

I think you could possibly do it by running an IOS or Android emulator on your Mac and run the appropriate Naim app within that. But I never tried to do this myself. I'm sure there are those here who have done this though.

There used to be an app called QuteControl. I have it on my MacBook. I'm not sure it's available anymore and it provides fairly basic operations such as moving tracks on, volume control and simple access to tracks. I have IOS and Android ways of controlling, but still use QC when using my Mac.

I used it on my NAC172, Qute and now Must, so I guess it would work with a ND5XS.

QuteControl is no longer on the Mac App Store, although it does still work with OSX and the latest Naim firmware. There appear to be a few sites selling it, but I've no idea if they are legitimate.
