The September tournament started yesterday, the perfect antidote for those trying to recover from the boredom of the Tour of Britain.
No need to wait 3 hours for something to happen, most bouts are over in a few seconds. I’ve watched three tournaments and still learning what it’s all about. You’d be surprised at the speed, agility and skill of some of the wrestlers.
This tournament seems wide open, three of the four Yokozuna ranked wrestlers are absent, injured, including the virtually unbeatable Hakuho. That leaves the aging, but best pound for pound wrestler at the moment Harumafuji and Ozeki ranked wrestlers to fight it out.

My money is on Chris Froome to win the yello jock-strap : )
