Programme Mode

Can anyone tell me why I can't get into programme mode on my new 252 - need to assign RCA's. Burundi's in; din's in; RCA's from dac are in. CD illuminated on top row and bottom, record, row. But when pressing programme on handset the light on the volume knob doesn't flash.. I'm sure I'm missing a trick..

Make sure that the PRE handset soft key is pressed first. That tells the handset that you want to control a pre-amp.
