I am sure David Hendon will be along to help you soon enough,he helped me get started.
Can you see a Core 'downloads' folder on your computer? You need to find this, and just copy or drag your music files to it. If you have a large library, I would suggest that you try moving them in batches rather than all at once.
Sorry if this seems obvious, but have you installed a hard drive as you make no mention of this. They come without a hard drive installed?

I see the core on my computer I can get in, but he doesn`t let me to drag or copy-paste into it, but if I wand to pull out from the core to my pc, he let me to do it but I don`t need, and yes I installed hard drive and there is also music inside.
If David Hendon logs in I am sure he would have a few Ideas. In the mean time drop a note to support@ naimaudio1.com
That should be support@naimaudio.com
I hope I can live up to the expectations that I seem to have created before!
As Chris says, if you can see the downloads folder in the Core from your PC, you should be able to copy to it. The most recent firmware update to the Core made it more difficult to find from a PC, and might prevent you copying even if you can see it (I'm not sure about that, but it no longer works as a mapped drive on my PC and gives me an error message about the Core declining the connection) but the method that Naim suggests, which involves using Windows explorer to navigate to the IP address for the Core, which you can get from the Naim app if you don't have another way of finding it, should work.
Another approach which you could try would be to do it the other way round. Define your PC as a Music Share in the Core menu option "Manage Music" and the app will now list all of your music including that on your PC. Assuming that you don't want to keep your PC connected for that purpose, you could Import your music from that share and the Core will put it into your downloads folder on the hard disc in the Core. You can then remove the music share in the Core setup.
You may be able to do this import into the Core without defining your PC as a share. Try it and see. In the past I found it a bit unpredictable as to how the discovery of sources for imports works in the Core. But I haven't tried this since the last firmware upgrade (and I was on holiday during the beta phase of that upgrade so I just installed the public release when I got back and haven't ever actually tested it as such).

Initially when I had my Core I couldn't access the downloads folder on PC so imported the files, reasonable straightforward. The issue of accessing the DL folder went away, I'm not sure if it was due to a firmware upgrade or resetting everything up or a bit of both. However, as per what David H said, if you can see the Core on your PC and you can see the downloads folder then it should be a simple copy and paste from PC to downloads file. I am using the latest firmware and was still able to copy and a couple of days ago. Apologies no new info, however, a confirmation that they is a route to do so.
I did it, I found how to make a download folder and now I am able to copy files into my core, but there is another question that bother me, I hooked up two hard disc one into my core and the second one outside through USB but it my download folder I see only one, the internal hard disc, the second one the external I don`t see, is there any way to find also the other one?
Whatever hard disc you connect to the Core will be ignored unless you tell the Core what to do with it. Every disc has to be either a Music Store or a Music Share. You can only have one Music Store. This is the internal hard disc in your case (but it doesn't have to be) and it is where the Core saves its own rips. The downloads folder on the internal disc is actually a Music Share not a Music Store.
If you plug a hard disc into the USB socket on the Core, you must then define this as a Music Share. You do this through the Manage Music menu option in the Core part of the Naim app. Any music on this external hard disc will then be scanned and presented/served in the same way through the control of the Naim app that the downloads folder in the internal disc is presented/served.
Dont make the mistake of trying to define the USB disc as a Music Store as you already have an internal Music Store.
And you don't need to tell the Core to Import Music from the USB disc unless you want to be able to unplug it later but still access the music which would now be on the internal Music Share (downloads folder).
One forum member inadvertently completely filled his internal disc with music imported from a large USB disc and found that the Core can't work properly with a completely full internal disc. It took him ages (several days) to sort it out.

You shouldn't have to 'make' a downloads folder, just find the one the Core already has. Making another could cause issues later. This is all explained in the 'manual' aka support page, although I must say that navigating around it is a car crash!

I need it to make a download folder, otherwise I couldn`t copy my files into the core from my pc, is there a different way to transfer files without a download folder?
When you install an internal hard disc in the Core, you should then define it as a Music Store in the Core setup and format it. The act of formatting it does put in place the Music folders (for CD rips) and the downloads folder for files copied in from outside the Core. You don't need to make your own downloads folder and this is what Chris means.
Did you get the Core to format the internal disc after you installed it? If not, then that is your problem and you should start again or you will certainly have problems later.

But there is music files inside, not mine still belong to my dealer, so if I format, everything inside will be delete, that`s the reason I add an external hard disc.
So you bought a used or ex-demo Core from your dealer, then it should already have been set up properly. You should talk to your dealer about how it has been configured. Maybe he was using an external drive for his downloads folder which you don't have. He should have sold you a fully functioning unit.

Still ex-demo core I didn't decide yet

Presume you mean it's a demo model, not ex-demo?
I think what has happened is that your dealer has installed a hard disc and identified it as a Music Store but not allowed it to be formatted, hence no downloads folder. This is not how a Naim dealer should behave, but if you buy it or buy a new Core then you can install the hard disc properly and won't have any trouble with the downloads folder being missing.

Probably you didn't understand me,I found how to create a download folder and everything is okey, but I can see or copy only into his internal hard disc, what I did next I put another external hard disc, but I can't identify it in my download folder the external hard disc, therefore I can't copy-paste into this one.

I think I did completely understand you. You don't need a download folder in your second (external) hard disc. But for the Core to see the second hard disc and for it to be visible to you to copy music to, you must set it up as a Music Share in the Core setup. This is easy to do and you don't have to format the disc so it won't affect any music that is already on your second disc.
Note this is a Music Share and not a Music Store The internal disc is the Music Store.
The other thing you can do is to connect your second hard disc to your PC USB port and copy the music that way, then plug it into the Core USB socket again, but you will still have to define it as a Music Share for the Core to see the Music.

Hi David
I have left my Core alone since my initial trouble I had with it, and just enjoyed listening to my music. The other day I stuck my external drive into my PC, and copied more music into the downloads folder, which seemed to work fine. I allowed it to finish, being careful not to overfill it, I just would rather have most of my music on the Core's SSD, rather than an external drive. The thing is, now I noticed that the core has that flashing power button again, but I have not had time to see if the music is stopping on me again. Are you saying that I now need to plug the external drive into the Core for it to work properly? Is there something else I need to do to copy files to the SSD that will allow me to leave it unplugged (the external drive) or is there no way around that? I will try and investigate what is going on tomorrow when I have time.
No you don't need to leave the drive plugged in to the Core. Once you have copied the music you can delete the external drive as a Music Share and just unplug it.
I would restart the Core and if you get the flashing button again then you could delete some of the latest music you copied into the downloads folder to see whether that helps I suppose. And maybe give Manu a ring and see if he has any suggestions.
But I have never seen this flashing power button issue myself.

Hi David
Does your SSD sound better than a regular hard disc? or it`s only faster
I can't say I noticed any difference when I swapped the HDD for SSD except that the Core runs cooler and you can't hear the SSD spinning round 24/7!

I too haven’t noticed a difference in SQ. I went the SSD route so the Core could sit on a spare equipment shelf without all those HDD noises and yes, barely warm to the touch with an SSD.
Mind you if you want a hot HDD with winter around the corner you can’t do better than a Sky Q box - you can fry eggs on those
