A friend has just come round with a sort of promo of this.

Mike Scott has got this album well right imo.

Its been along time coming.

Bloody fantastic.

Its out on CD and double vinyl on the 19th September.

Back to it.

I saw Mike Scott and others a few years ago at the UEA and didn't want it to finish. Wonderful stuff.

First saw them in the mid 1980s at Ibrox Park along with a number of other bands including Simple Minds and Hipsway, obviously they were by far the most talented act of the day. Think I have all the LPs and do still go back to them - great band. My son loves Red Army Blues... Looking forward to hearing this. I do pop over to the Findhorn Foundation for the weekend now and again with the family - always keep my eye open for him (that's where he satys these days)..

The only album i have of theirs to suffer from the loudnessss wars is the black best of cd.

Is this the copy you have (CCD 1845)? I agree SQ isn't as good as their other albums.

It looks like it.

I need to go under Noahs bed and find it in one of the many boxes of cds to be sure.

I will have them all back on the new wall shelves fingers crossed by the end of this week.

They need another coat of matt black paint.

I have to get everything done before Peter comes down after the show.

Will let you know.

The answerphone has just gone off, so i think George has got home safe and sound
