Tidal desktop app exclusive mode

Hi guys hope your well. I’m a long time reader but first time poster. Recently the upgrade bug has hit a little and I’m planning on trading in my uniti 2 and getting a dac v1. Anyhow I have been looking into streaming from the laptop/computer and I was wondering if anybody has tried the tidal app in the exclusive mode and peoples experience with it. Or is it still better to go through a third party software such as audirvana?
