Uniti Core Backup not readable on Mac?

I had posted this question in February, I never got a real answer and the thread is closed now. I still have the same problem now. I was hoping with the firmware updates this will be resolved. Has anybody else had the possibility to read the backup disk on a Mac (or PC) or not?

Just be aware that while macOS can read NTFS drives, it can't write to them.

To double check you didn't have the backup formatted as ext4 (Linux) did you? If not it appears there is a bug in the HFS+ implementation on the Core.
