compatable equipment

Hi folks, have just joined as you can guess from the name. Current system ; from my student days (don,t laugh to much), STD turntable linn basic arm, Sansui AU-D9 amp, Cambridge Audio CD player and Mission 770 speakers. Have just been given some equipment from an old friend who has an incredible system, A pair of Naim SBL speakers a Lin Karik CD player and a Linn Kairn pre amp. So obviously will need a power amp, cables etc. Will have a budget approx £1000 so any suggestions? I can see that this is not a straightforward problem. Look forward to your feedback.

Hi Newbie

The most obvious route would be to add a Linn power amp - and this isn't the best place to get advice on that.

An alternative would be to chop the Linn stuff in for some Naim, either through a dealer or second-hand. Again, some of the sites already mentioned have classified ads for members. Plenty of options, but I'm not sure what your Linn stuff would bring.
