cable dressing

Hi to everyone could you plz advise me on my cable dressing,does it matter if the two burndy cables from the 300ps to the 300dr power amp are close together make any difference to the sound quality your answers would be much appreciated thanks aceone.

I believe the general idea is to keep mains power away from signal and avoid cables touching anything wherever possible.

The two Burndy cables from PS to head unit can run close together, following the same route until they widen to fit the greater spacing on the 300 head unit, They carry DC power so keep them away from mains cables - same with the signal cables as Blythe mentions. When i had mine i found it worth doing a trial fit first - marking them up with a dot of nail varnish for orientation and 'shaping' them before fitting. This make it easier to slide the plugs into the sockets before locking the collars and this minimises torsional stress on the connectors.
