Nait 5i-2 Problem

When viewing my amp from the top, the gap between the case and the front fascia is not even. It is very slight but not exactly the same. Does this mean that the unit has been opened, or is it possible it came like this from the factory? It is a 2012 build and I see no signs of wear on the screws on the bottom of the case.

Mine is the same, as are my cd5si. Probably nothing to worry about.

A lot of them are a bit wonky. It’s a bit sloppy to let them leave the factory like that, but there’s nothing to be concerned about.

My new Naim CD player is like that also, but my amp and power supply are perfect, I guess it's just lucky if they are symmetrical.

Yep, pretty normal. Some are straight, some are a bit off. Nothing to worry about.
