N-Serve update
Posted by: ChrisSU on 18 November 2017
I was a bit surprised to see an iOS app store update for N-Serve today. It claims that it 'Fixed crashes reported on iOS9.' Anyway, I updated it and now have version 2.12 (11514) instead of the old version, which was, .....errrrr..... 2.12 (11514). Or is this just the app store having a wobbly?!
I get this quite often with updates. A day or two later the same update is available. No idea why it happens. I don’t use the N serve app myself, but my App Store shows the version 2.12 was added a year ago.
Shows up as an 'update 20 Nov 2015'....
I see the Naim app has been updated too. And it gains iPhone X support apparently and that’s it
slow hand clap then.
n-Serve was last updated over 1 year ago as Adam points out. The Naim app, previously known as n-Stream, was the one updated last week.

So you might think, but there was an N-Serve update in the App Store this morning.
All I see is version 2.12 (???)
So do I, the point I’m making above is that it seems odd that it has appeared as an update in the app store.

N-serve can work on android? I did not find yet
No, it's always been iOS only.

Yes an update for n-serve appeared on both my iPhone and iPad yesterday, even though both were on the latest version. I accepted the "update" to get rid of the notification.

It's quite often because the app developer has issued a minor update a couple of days later to kill a bug that had been missed. If you look at the release date, it becomes immediately apparent what's going on.

The App store has definitely gone a bit loopy, it’s just come up with the same N-Serve update again. Hopefully this isn’t going to happen every morning!
I got it yet again yesterday. Weird!

I'm looking at n-Serve in the App Store and only seeing version 1.4, updated 12/03/15.
[Edit - which is for MacOS, I now realise.]

Yes, that's the Mac version - as you have now realised!
