app on iphone x

Posted by: jon h on 20 November 2017

last night's new version is moderately better, but still has a host of design sillyness. My favourite is the Edit Metadata page on Core where the heading is clipping and appears as "... . ....  . .... .. ..."

bottom volume slider is still much too close to the apple app change bar.

maybe the third go at "improved for iphone x" will iron these things out?

this is not beta

It was released as a beta on 16/11/17,  the one & only tester with an iPhoneX reported it as OK,  but as no Core

Sorry, it's a beta thread, thought you might have been on it. Anyway, the point is that there are a couple of other posters who have found the same as you, that the top of the screen is cut off by the bit with the front camera etc. in it. Schoolboy error, I guess.

They are, but if you're finding the issue on the public version, it's no secret!

Yep, the app on the X needs a lot of work, but then the app on the 8, 7 and iOS11 is full of bugs. Hanging artwork, incorrect meta data, iRadio drop outs it goes on and on. Yes, Naim support have been notified several times, "Go back to the dealer", they laugh and say that these things are all in scope to be fixed....

When?
