Direction Burndy between NDac and Xps

I thaught the marked end of the Burndy should be placed at scource, so at the Ndac.

But i found a picture in a German HiFi Magazine, where it is opposite, whats now correct?

The marked end goes at the source. You are right. Ignore the magazine.

The direction band on the Burndy goes closest to the source of the music, yes. So in this instance, closest to the DAC.
