NDS/XPS DR

Now have a NDX/XPSdr Super lumina 5pin to 552/555dr Question, would a 555 be a major upgrade on the NDX or do I wait to find a NDS/555 in the gently loved catagory? btw, Most of my downloaded music is hd flac , either 96/24 or 192/24 .

I would think that NDS/XPS would be the way to go first, then add the 555 later, unless you have the cash to do it in one go. Or unless a 555 comes along at a price you can’t resist. Either way, you’ll have a great system.

NDS + 555PSDR is the way to go.

Primary difference betwen the NDX and NDS is the quality of DAC and the internal architecture.

All of it results in a significant uplift in the sound quality.

If you don't go for the NDS now, you will do later. If you find a 555 in the meantime, ok but be sure you won't stop there. Enjoy anyway!
