While Tom Tom are a super dealer, why do they get this special free publicity? Dealers are updating their websites all the time, and I don’t recall any being promoted in this way before.

They have been trailing this news for some time.....it’s just a new front end leading to the old pages, which were perfectly adequate. I agree, Naim should apply some quality criteria.

Because it's celebrating 15 years of Naim and Tom Tom and also pointing to a special feature on Tom Tom Audio in the latest Connection edition online.

The Steve Sells interview on the new site is well worth a read too

I agree some info is good to read, I would not have stumbled on it without your heads up, so thank you

Gazza, the entire site is brand new and has been created from scratch. A lot of hard work went into it, so I'm told. And I can quite believe it. Personally, I think it's an excellent new site and I spent the best part of an hour last night going through it.  The interview with Steve Sells is a real highlight, and one I recommend everyone on here take a moment to read.

I know the old Tom Tom website very well and although there are some pages that have stayed the same, most of it is new. I really like the fresh and unpretentious look and feel of the new site. I have still to explore it fully and will certainly give the Steve Sells interview a read.

James and Henry at Tom Tom are great guys and I have built pretty much my entire system with their help. Any assistance Naim can give to promoting their dealers should be encouraged as long as there is a professional distance and assistance is fair and proportional. Other dealers have been promoted on the forum, particularly those holding demonstrations and shows, so why note help promote a new and exciting website?

I am sure Naim are keen to help their dealers, why would't they. Dealers just need to be a little proactive in their relationship with Naim I would suggest.

i purchased part of my systems from them. Although i never visited their shops being myself in Italy, I receveid great assistance and advice from James. He' s been particulary helpful in occasion of a BMR faulty unit, dealing brilliantly  such issue with the factory

Top guys indeed.

Regards

Roberto

I have ordered some accessories on-line through Tom Tom a couple of times now and I have to say that their service is super fast, brilliant in fact!

Great new site too!

Perhaps because they’re one of Naim’s biggest retailers? Not my opinion but that of a senior Naim figure who recently visited for some installation work. James is also superb but yes, there are others out there like Julian and his team at Audio-t in Brighton. Been going there since it was Jeffries in the 1980s

I rather like Signals' recently updated website - it might be an age thing

Signals are also excellent guys to deal with too, very friendly and helpful.  I got my SBL's from them a few years ago!

I must check out the new Tomtom site, good work lads!  James and Henry are perfect gentlemen and have helped me out a lot during my Naim journey.  They also have an excellent supply of Naim and I cannot recommend them enough

Is there any update on TomTom’s SL2 grilles that I understood to be going into production? There is nothing showing on the Naim Parts section of the website....

Do post the answer when you've e-mailed them.

James is visiting next week with my new pair of SL2’s and has told he plans to have a new set of grills with him so I’d guess they're pretty imminent

Thanks Andrew.  Most promising news.
