VW Golf GTI & Dynaudio "Excite" - any experience?

I recently placed an order for a VW Golf GTI 7.5 and ticked the Dynaudio "Excite" option on the basis that it'll at least be loud but wondered if anyone here has one, has any experience of them and whether it's possible to hook up an Astell&Kern or similar and play FLAC files?

Yes, I did, thanks. All very positive but it seems to be based on an MP3 feed, which I detest. My attempts at establishing whether it can handle FLAC - couldn’t find anything on the VW site - suggest that, in the older versions in any case, it’s MP3, AAC or WMA, which would be a shame.

I run a VW Scirocco with the Dynaudio system.

Sound quality? Quite average. Ok with a CD quality playback, really bad with MP3s.

As to connectivty - I only tried MP3 and WAVs.

You’re going to have to upgrade higher up the Volkswagen range... I understand if you go a bit higher you can have a VW with a Naim system :-)
