Where to download hi-res free music ?

Posted by: Bouba on 12 December 2017

Good 'noon to all,

I was just wondering if anyone here could advise about a reliable website where I could easily download free hi-resolution music, i.e. anything that'd be offered beyond the now "ordinary" CD quality ?

I listen to very different genres of music (with the exception of classical) so really looking for a Platform that would propose a very wide and eclectic catalogue; any thoughts ?

Many thanks

if you live in europe : qobuz

for usa: hdtracks.   some tracks are also available for europe residents but mostly not.

highrezaudio(germany)

These are the most important sites, but for classical music you have also more sites....

i wish you an interesting discovery

There is a very decent free sampler available on HDTracks.

If you want something seasonal but played quite differently try the samples on Bravura Records website. The tracks sound phenomenal!

Bouba, do you mean to find some ‘free samples’?

There is no such thing as free music, be it CD quality or something better.
