Welcome to System Pics 2018.
To start things off, here are a couple of pictures of my setup. There have been some big changes over the past year; a 300 and a 555PS, and some extra shelves to accommodate them.
Here is my new speakers. Hope they will show up to be a new Sbl...
They look really good Fred - a very neat (no pun intended) design

Thank you, James! Neat, indeed: )

I also gave more space to each piece of kit as well and tidied up the cables. I am really pleased with the result. I am quite sure that the sound has regained its sparkle and the music is more coherent. This photo was taken just before Spurs and Arsenal took to the field when proceedings had to be put on hold.....
Steve, what speakers do you have? They look pretty cool- audiophysics or dynaudio?

Hi Ralf
I made the speakers myself. I always fancied a pair of lute shaped speakers and I liked the look of Sonus Faber loudspeakers as well and this was the result. They are based on a design by Troels Gravesen a highly respected loudspeaker designer from Denmark.
Steve
Wow - my respect Steve!!

They look really nice Steve - I think you need to post some close ups of the speakers and show us your work

Elegant, modern room with a large window... And cozy. I find the speakers a tad dark close to the other furniture. I love the armchair(s?), similar to a couple I have and that an architect, friend of my parents', designed and made for them for their marriage, in 1950.

All very elegant and contemporary... especially the ubiquitous TV set (a joke, not a critic!). I find the Benz cartridge extraordinary for two reasons: the shape, and the red transparent colour. A friend of mine, here in Italy, has a couple of original Albarry 408 mono blocks and when I visit him I stay hypnotized watching the inside-illuminated red plastic boxes like a child. They also sound so good, open and sweet.
Emme,
just out of curiosity: is your avatar Jerry Garcia?

Beautiful cart the Benz have you tried it nude without the plastic cover it looks beautiful.
I found it sounded slightly better nude but it isn’t for the ham fisted.
Thank you very much for your kind comments Ralf, Eoink and James.
I must confess I loved making them, as much for the problem solving aspect of how I was going to achieve the end result and not be embarrassed by the finished product. I spent months doing lots of research on shapes, materials etc before taking the plunge. They are made from a lamination of 3mm MDF and 3mm Birch Faced Plywood and finally veneered with Maple veneer. Finding a piece of veneer wide enough and with the 'right' figuring took an eternity and I was tempted to spray paint them as I was getting impatient trying to find a suitable piece. I am glad I was patient as they do not dominate the room despite what SWMBO says which would have been the case had they been painted loudspeaker black.
Cheers, Steve
Novichok 1977, That is a classic looking system. It also looks like you have really paid attention to set up. Very nice.

That's an interesting looking setup, Emme. What are the speakers ?
The speakers are Davone Mojo (danish manufacturer), an unusual compact omnidirectional model.
Those look just like the Zenith "Circle Of Sound" speakers I had as a kid in the 1960's!

The Danish speakers look really great on the Dutch, or should I write, Swedish coffee table.

No, is not the great Jerry, is Ryan Adams during a live show last year...

Is this a fact or just a precautionary step? I'm keeping mine with the clock on for a year now.

It's a known issue with these screens - plenty of people have had to get them replaced, so it would be wise to heed HH's advice.
Will do.
