System Pics 2018

Welcome to System Pics 2018.
To start things off, here are a couple of pictures of my setup. There have been some big changes over the past year; a 300 and a 555PS, and some extra shelves to accommodate them.

You need to upload it to a photo hosting site - imgur is currently a la mode.
Then follow the instructions here (using the DIRECT link): click here.
Is there a mono element on your streamer?
my humble set-up.
BNC1863 - great to see a pair of Focal Kanta out in the wild! What are the feet underneath the speaker stands?

Hi Yetizone, running in those speakers. Those are IsoAcoustics GAIA isolators.
Ah, many thanks!

Very nice. I saw a pair of Kantas in the flesh a few weeks back and really like how they looked. There's certainly a range of finishes from mild to wild to suit all tastes and these look very classy.

For once, I admit that a pair of Focal speakers look good. In think they must have been designed by Naim.
But what about the violins? 'Humble' them too..? Please some infos, at least those that can be given without compromising your and your home's security.

I love the look of this Kanta’s. I heard them at a music evening at my dealers and the sounded fabulous too. May be tempted to have a listen with a view to changing my PMC Fact 8’s for them.
Thanks
Gary
We're up in Nova Scotia for the summer .. the sound system and the data center are both on-line. Music sounds wonderful. View doesn't hurt.

That black top plate sets off the cherry(?) plinth most well.

Very nice, I have the exact same Kanta’s in the same colors as you have. I really love them. I have a less toe in than you; it awas the result of a full system setup/tuning session done by a Naim expert. What system drives your Kanta’s; is it a 272 on the pic? Iver

It’s not a humble setup. Those Kanta’s are mighty fine, I think a lot would appreciate such a setup...

Thanks Iver. Love them too. I concurred with your description of the sound (in your previous post) and indeed the Kanta "disappearing as loundspeakers" . Lead time was a looong 4 months but nevertheless, happy. Yes, its 272 with 250DR.

Nice set-up Franz! Was the Fraim positioning motivated by cable dressing?
I see you have the CD555 on top of the power supply stack. Did you experiment with it above the 500’s and did it have a noticeable impact?
