Welcome to System Pics 2018.
To start things off, here are a couple of pictures of my setup. There have been some big changes over the past year; a 300 and a 555PS, and some extra shelves to accommodate them.

The fireplace was ripped out to accommodate the Twenty5 26s
Looks very nice, the NDX2 will finish it off a treat.

Yes it will Gazza. The oak unit is going, and the TV will go on the wall????

???? Meerkat,....Sounds good that you remove ”the oak unit” between the loudspeakers.
And put up your TV on the wall, then "sticks" not the music between the wall and back TV.
This we demonstrated in a friends house this weekend,he had his TV as you have.
We let the bench stand and lifted off his TV.
It got better in how the music played out,and with the bench gone it became even better.
Looking at pictures here in this thread that many, many have a bench..And also a TV between the speakers.
This is not good if we talk about optimizing the music system.
Try it and you'll see,..but if you remove the bench, and or TV,you may need to make a small tuning of your speakers.
This is based on their new conditions to play out.
/Peder ????
The rack could do with being a bit less ferrous if the improvement I got from Fraim Lite over something similar is anything to go by. Might be a good next step with full Fraim the top choice (at an eye watering price but I regretted not doing it straight out and going for lite instead) and bog standard Quadraspire the minimum.

I will...all in good time though.

It will be nicer and the speakers will breath....good idea.
On the advice of a dealer I was talking to recently I separated my speakers a bit more - now almost 8 feet apart center to center but more interestingly he also recommended having no toe-in whatsoever. I was quite pleasantly surprised by the result, a hugely improved sound stage and overall presentation.
Robert Burgess posted:Hi Adam - where did you get the 2 black support shelves next to the Sondek? I’ve been looking but can’t find something like those!
I had them custom-made by a chap outside of Warsaw - he specialises in audio support units, under a brand name OSTOJA. He also made the tampered-glass shelves for me.
Thanks - Wish he was here in the States!

Lovan makes also the same supports. I have a lovan rack also and before optional level like those on the photos, with around the same height.

Very neat Adam, and I seem to recognise those Naim Chips.
Indeed Nigel - the same ones! Grateful as ever for your help. All the best, Adam

Hi Robert
Do try contacting some of the smaller manufacturers in the US. You may be surprised to find that a custom business is actually more important for them. And the level of service you will get in such instances is bound to be first-class.
The owner of OSTOJA told me that he does bulk of his work in non-standard supports for the European market.
I designed the supports together with him. He added his bits and re-inforced the legs, so the units can be stacked on top of each other if needed.

Adam, I am always happy to help a fellow Naimee in need.
Cheers
Nigel

Just don't coil them. The speaker cables that is.

I had a stand just like that.
I liked the sound with a nut and ball under the four corners of each shelf ????
Thanks Adam!
