Decision Made

Thank you all for your helpful comments concerning my post about the NDS/555PS DR upgrade. Experiencing "live" music in my living room is important to me along with the other benefits of upgrading. My dealer in Seattle notified me that Naim has its streamers on sale. Therefore, the NDS will come at a reduced price. The dealer will sell me his ex demo 555PS DR at a reduced price and he will take my ND5XS and XPS DR as trades. All in all a good deal not to be passed up. My upgraded system will consist of the NDS, 555PS DR,NAC 282, NAP 250 DR, HiCap DR, and Allae speakers. I appreciate your time and effort to post comments which were extremely helpful to me in making my decision.

Congratulations on your choice but I would spend a little money on a speaker upgrade you would be very, very surprised what that system could do with a pair of Dynaudio, Neat, Proac or Kudos speakers.

Is your Seattle dealer Tune HiFi?

Good choice and a very musical system. You will like it.

yes, these speakers are the limiting factor on the new op system but he can easily for now enjoy it without problem....enjoying by steps is perhaps more fun than purchasing a big system in one day.

Yes, Robert, Tune HiFi is my dealer. Connon set me up with a Naim system in 2013. I also have spoken with a few employees at Hawthorne Stereo who were very helpful with answering my questions about software updates when Connon was not available.

Fave fun.
