Naim Uniti star

First of all, are there any reason why it is not possible to sign in under my regular account?

Since yesterday there is no way to sign in because my email adress is unknown.....strange so I post with my unused account....

Today I got a phone call from my dealer that the star just arrived.

I am a happy guy because the original delivery date was mid of January. 

Right out of the box it's sound fantastic. Unfortunately I have the problem that the volume control on the unit doesn't work. Only by remote it is possible to adjust the volume level. 

Is there something to adjust??

I think the unit is faulty....

Unfortunately I think you are correct. Volume should operate via a twist of the dial.

Hmmm, just twist the dial for the 10th or so. ...

Now it's working... Naim what is going on....just a computer?????

@ Uniti atom, star and nova users, wobbles the power cable socket at your units also?

Is there a cleaning mode on these? My Muso has a cleaning mode that allows you to clean it and it disables the touch controls and the volume ring, when enabled.

Yes floating power socket standard on all Naim components I believe.

In the app go to Settings and then Other Settings and you should see a Cleaning Mode option to tick. ????

Found it on Muso.

No choice on Star.

Volume knob on star still works now.....I'm happy that I don't need to complaint tomorrow at my dealer.

P.S. I am still not able to sign in because forumsystem said my email is unknown. Can anybody advise how to get into my account?

Maybe anybody have an idea....
