FT,
Just noticed you're using 320S...could you tell anything about differences with or without?
Has anyone tried a Graham Slee?
Hi Dre,
The 310LP that I have was "upgraded" about a year ago to a new model with the same name. Apparently, 60% of UK owners bought their 310LP with the 320S external power supply. However, on a global basis only about 10% did, so Moon deleted the 320S from the catalogue for the current 310LP. I have never listened to it without the 320S, as I bought them as a pair and the Naim Superline/SupercapDR was always going to be a tough act to follow.
Hope this helps, FT
Hi Vincenzo
I have An RP10/Aphelion and a Thorens TD124 Mk II/Dynavector DV10x5 on the RP8 arm both connected into a Rega Aria which is then connected via SL RCA to DIN into 282+SuperCap DR etc. Both cartridges are very involving and warm despite the huge difference in cost. The Aphelion is more detailed etc.
It was not always that way. The biggest change came when I doubled all the spacings between the boxes. Given the spec of your system, I think the answer is to work on the setup until you get the warm sound from your system no matter what source you use. Using a DIN input into your preamp is much preferred and I assume this is ok with your Naim phonostages. The Rega cartridges work best at the bottom end of their tracking weight but you could experiment. Turntable and rack placement in the room matters relative to speakers matters. Vibration from speakers is a number one enemy. Full SL loom was well worth it as well.
The sound of vinyl surface noise is usually an indicator of setup. It is far less noticeable with a good setup.
Despite being very happy with my CDX2 into nDAC+ XPSDR via DC1 I still prefer vinyl.

I have just picked up a Rothwell Rialto to test with my Michell Gyrodec Se with Ortofon blue, NAC N272 and NAP 250dr and it sounds really good and natural
I use a Heed Questar MM phono stage with my Michell Gyrodec SE fitted with DV-20X2 fed into a 272/250 sounds sublime., warm, detailed, no pops and it's great to get of arse every 20-25 minutes to change the side or album.
The best vfm phono stage I ever owned was a Rega Fono MM paired with a Denon DL110 on a Linn Axis was a great 'budget set up' No use to the OP of course but great vfm.
I now have the Graham Slee Reflex 10 on demo, it is excellent and that is before it has had the recommended 3 week 'burn in' (just ever so slightly betters the Era Gold V.
I have also tried it with the PSU 1 and I could not tell the difference (I will stick with the green power supply).
