Supernait2 headphone socket

Good evening and merry Christmas everybody!

i would like to know if the jack socket of the SN2 uses the power amp of the amplifier just with some reduction or resistor or it s a proper headphone amp itself?

this because I like the Supernait very much with my speaker but I'm also an headfier.. I have hifiman he1000 that I use to connect to speaker taps, also tried from the speakertaps of the sn2 and sound wonderful, of course paying attention to the volume..and if I could use the full potential of the sn2 from the headphone output, maybe with a little modification like changing of the resistor with smaller one, would be my top choice

so I could keep the speaker connected to their taps and connect the headphone in the front whenever I like, with the same quality that I get when I drive it from the speaker taps..

thank you

DM

I once had a FCXS-powered Headline amp via Nait XS and moving directly from that to the SN2's HP-out was a big let down. While the SN2's HP-out is Class A, it played comparatively weak driving my 250-ohm Beyer T70. Bottom line there, I wouldn't have huge expectations for dedicated HP listening directly from the SN2's HP-out. Some here have found satisfactory results using low impedance HPs on the SN2.

As far as changing resistors, electronic modifications to Naim gear is taboo on this forum. Warranty voided, etc.
