Can iPhone SE internal dac be bypassed ?

I have a new iPhone SE for Christmas and am wondering if connecting it
iPhone SE >> Camera kit >> USB cable >> Chord 2Qute
will bypass the iPhones internal dac?
Yes, Lightning connector is digital only so must bypass the iPhone’s internal DAC.
Ive read the iPhone works with the CCK and 2Qute, but you may want to consider the USB3.0 version which allows for separate power connection too.

Thanks Eloise but I'm afraid my ignorance is total in these matters where and how would I connect to USB3.0?
Is it lighting >> usb cable straight into the 2Qute?

The USB3 version is the new version of the Camera Connection Kit. Like the original it connects to the iPhone’s Lightning connector and then offers a USB-A (like on a PC) connector. You attach a USB-A to USB-B cable to that which also connects to the DAC.
With the standard Camera Connection Kit, all you have is the USB-A connection. With the new USB3 version, as well as supporting faster USB3 speeds (which are irrelevant for a DAC) you get a 2nd Lightning connector allowing you to also charge the iPhone as well as providing power to a device such as a DAC which requires more power than the iPhone can supply.
