I am persisting with this one as a good mate of mine has told me to. For me it's not exactly easy listening.

That’s what makes it a very good album, Mike. It’s not your usual jazz tempo and challenges the listener with a constant change of cleverly manipulated beats. Very rewarding and one of my albums of the year. Enjoy it and and have a great Xmas.
Many thanks Tony for the words of encouragement.
I'm listening via Tidal at present, although I might just might buy a vinyl copy then I will have to play it.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Cockney Rebel - The Human Menagerie

Playing on Vinyl - Fabulous Stephen Still's solo debut album
Handels Messiah with the London Philharmonic, nice to play this at this time of year and always a favourite over Christmas. Performed for the first time here in Dublin in 1742 and still going strong. Cd rip.
For some reason after getting this for Christmas 2012 it’s been a Christmas staple every year since. There must be a certain “looking back” feel that attracts me at this time of year.
