What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
1993 - Just fancied listening to Jupiter & Teardrop and Fuzzy . Two fine tracks and he’s got a great voice.
Some classic Mary Black to start this evening's listening. By The Time It Gets Dark is a long-time favourite of mine, the song Trying To Get The Balance Right being particularly lovely.
(2015)
Chris Stapleton - Traveller
Slipping this one on while others are temporarily preoccupied...
Excellent prompting MDS - Mary Black queued up - not listened to that album for years.
Original vinyl
Why? I though Mr Waters' final Floydian outing would add nicely to the general misery of the season.

Must confess to being long-time Mary Black fan, Ian. I think I have all of her studio albums. An artist I never tire of listening to.

Seems appropriate to play a bit of Family at this time of year.
1999.
1991 - off Tidal...
I always had a soft spot for this lot. The thing about Carter is that they never took themselves too seriously and neither did their audience. This is a good album but unfortunately it runs out of steam half way through.
Vinyl on the Celluloid label, gatefold sleeve with lyrics
Why? Keepin' it serious.

Horslips - Drive The Cold Winter Away
Streaming on TIDAL........ A mention from SLOOP JOHN B yesterday had me place this in the queue and getting a chance to take it out for a spin this morning!
If you like that you might like this - a little less trad and an old favourite of mine, Horslips Happy to meet Sorry to Part, I have an original vinyl copy stashed somewhere with the cool concertina shaped cover which I think should be only six sided to match the actual instrument but I guess the vinyl wouldn’t fit so they made it with eight sides! Anyway it’s a great album and streaming on Tidal
1987 - Vinyl - UK first pressing..
Now Playing.........
Horslips - Happy to Meet, Sorry to Part
Streaming on TIDAL......... a mention from MERCKY and continuing on with the exploration of Horslip. I enjoyed 'Drive The Cold Winter Away' and looking forward to 'Happy to Meet, Sorry to Part!'
1994 - This should wrap up everything nicely for tonight!
I’d forgotten just how good an album this is, St Germain Tourist on Tidal, must pick up a hard copy.
