On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

I really like this album, Ewemon. The track Jessica attracted all the air play, but it wasn't necessarily the best track. A local band, the Paynekillers with Steve Payne on guitar and Keith Warmington on vocal, used to open their set with a very tight version of Jelly Jelly, which I much prefer.

Doesn't need a why?
None of her albums need a why a superb artist.

Agreed.
The Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request - WAV CD rip
From the Mono box-set, I’ve had She’s a Rainbow as an ear worm for a few days, so exorcising it. I do love this album (apart from Gomper), only the Stones could make hippy-trippy psychedelia sound as rocky as this.
Aapo Heinonen Quintet - Tara
Very nice jazz music by Finish pianist / composer Aapo Heinonen. It has a bit of the Yellowjackets sound.
Aapo Heinonen – grand piano, keyboards, synthesizers, compositions and arrangements
Teemu Takanen – alto & soprano saxophones
Héctor Lepe – electric guitar
Vesa Ojaniemi – electric bass
Tomi Saikkonen – drums
Ricardo Padilla – percussion (tracks 1, 2, 7)
Lotta-Maria Pitkänen – violin (tracks 2, 3)
Mila Laine – cello (track 3)
On Vinyl:
Pink Floyd
Relics - CD Rip
Edward
Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott - Crooked Calypso - WAV CD rip
Back to Paul and Jacqui, more intelligent clever lyrics set to catchy rock tunes, well played by a strong band, and sung superbly by two excellent singers who gel so well.
The Pearl, Harold Budd with Eno & Lanois, always loved this ambient album and perfect for a chill-out Sunday afternoon, CD rip.
Emily Remler - Firefly
Inspired by Eoink - On Vinyl

Must give that lady a listen.
Mary Coughlan - Love for Sale- WAV CD rip
The great Irish chanteuse, here in sultry mood powering her way through standards and contemporary numbers in a live recording from the Mean Fiddler in 1993. She’s in amazing voice, Richie Buckley’s sax soars and drives most numbers. Fantastic live recording, I wasn’t there but did see her at that time, so caught the set, a great memory. She’s touring the U.K. this spring, just waiting for responses from friends before booking the Hebden Bridge Trades Club on 12th April.
I haven't played any Curved Air in quite a while. This was the first picture album I ever encountered ( a long time ago).
Zimerman's B Minor Sonata is polished and suave. This is a very good digital recording tho. Wish DG would remake it in vinyl.

She’s a seriously talented young country singer, great ability to describe a scene in a couple of lines, and the songs are catchy as hell.

Thanks, Eoin. I've just ordered Same Trailer Different Park.
First listen delayed due to my Moth RCM turntable not turning and unable to do any vinyl cleaning!
Big shout out to Mike Harris at Moth for his excellent technical support. After first replacing a capacitor, that Mike sent free of charge, I ended up replacing the motor itself which Mike said was the first he had heard of failing.
All working as normal now and cleaning can continue.

Kacey Musgraves - Golden Hour
Streaming on NAS............. after sleeping in this morning with a busy day ahead I spinning up Kacey to get the feet shuffling. The opening track 'Slow Burn' sounding mighty sweet this morning and great advice for the "taking my time, let the world turn."
