too many server softwares on my network

Hi everybody

I am not sure if anybody has an answer for this and I am not even sure if there is an answer to my question. I have a Unity-2, which is connected to a Melco N1A connected to an Airport Extreme. One of my boys also now has a Sonos One and we have a MacMini on the Network that runs Plex for recording TV. When I use the Naim app I don't only see the MinimServer installed on the Melco but also the Sonos and Plex server. Is there a way that I can only see the MinimServer and nothing else even though they are all on the same network ?

Many thanks for any answers.

The Naim App displays all servers it finds.  Other than Plex appearing on the first page (after hitting UPNP), why does this matter? You can just ignore it; select MinimServer, and be on with it!  Even if Plex were not visible, you'd still need to select Minim from that screen.

Happy New Year!

It does not matter to me but my wife would find it easier if she did not have to remember, which server she should choose.

You can always rename the Minimserve to something like “Choose this”

I was not aware that this is possible. Is this done from MinimWatch?

Yes in MinimWatch... in the Options page, change the “displayName”.  The default is something like “MinimServer [computername)]”, just change that to something useful (and let the server restart).

I suggest something including the words "loved beautiful wife" or the like.
