Zobel netwerk

I wonder  if the Uniti Nova has a Zobel network now. So it can be used with a wider range of LS cable?

Good question. I suspect it does.. but ask Naim and ask if there are any specific limitations on speaker length etc

A minor point of order:  Every amp has a zobel,  a zobel is a series resister & capacitor  typically aprx 10ohms & 100nF in shunt across the output stage,  The question you are asking is does it also include an addition series inductor that traditionally Naim do not have & instead use the speaker cable to provide the inductance load.

In the support 'video'  it seems its not so fussy   "..........  Naim Audio speaker cable will provide the best results, but a range of speaker cable types may be used without risk of damage to the amplifier. Use equal lengths of speaker cable for each channel  ........."

And since this is what is written in the manual since the release of the SuperNait, I think that a Nova is perfectly safe with any sensible choice of normally built and designed cables. The rest is a matter of taste. BTW, I've heard it a few times with a pair of Nordost speaker cables that costed more than the Nova, and it didn't explode, and sounded pretty well.
