Tellurium Q Black minimum cable length

Someone wrote on Naim Facebook, that if you use the Tellurium, then you can use cable length shorter than 3;5 m, is that correct.
I have in my mind, that, if you run a modern black box, that there is no need to run the Naca5 >3:5 m, which i would prefer.
My amp is the Nap 300 DR.
