Hi Naim guys and girls.
Did anyone have a chance to compare those two Spendor modeles?
I have A2 on home demo in an 18 m2 big room with one speaker close to left and rear wall. I really like the sound. I was wondering if A4 might be to big for my place. Unfortunately, there is no possibility for A4 home demo.

I have the A4’s but have heard both back to back in my dealers, from memory they were very similar sounding but obviously a bit more scale and oomph from the 4’s. The 2’s were sweet though. I’m using an Atom with A4’s and am pretty happy with them.

Mercky, how big is your room? I ask because my is quite small and not ideal for speaker placement.
Nice to hear that sound signature is identical, just the scale difference

My room is a bit odd and acoustically challenging, about 25x15 ft but with a 15 ft pitched ceiling with timber trusses, it’s also open to a double height void at one end so all in all not ideal conditions for hifi! That said they sound pretty good for typical everyday listening once you don’t get too analytical. I suspect the A2’s will be absolutely fine for smaller rooms
