Newbie Question: moving from US to France

Posted by: Bushdolphin on 15 January 2018

I have an opportunity to move from the US to France.  Can I use the NAP 250dr plus N-272 combo without having to revert to a power converter?  Hoping to just be able to change the power cord

You need to have them converted to work on 230V.

The power cord won't change the voltage.

The NAP 250 is a minor rewire, change of fuse, labels and mains cable. The 272 may need a transformer swap (change of fuse, labels and mains cable) - check with Naim.

Thank you for the replies.  Much appreciated.

To be very specific, you need Naim or a recommended Naim service agent to do this voltage change.

Some advice given to me when I visited France for work.

When you walk into a store, or room with others already there you should initiate the greeting and say hello (Bon Jour). I think in the States we wait for those in the room or the shop keeper to say hello first.  This served me well the 3 separate times I went to France

Can't help with the technical question.

Good Luck.

In France, it's always the people who comes IN who says "Bonjour" first

Good luck
