Naim Factory Tour

Posted by: crackie on 17 January 2018

I would like to publicly send a shout out to Naim and specifically to Dan & Mark at Naim HQ.

Chris Murphy very kindly facilitated  (thank you Chris) a factory tour whilst I was on my UK holiday.

i could not have been treated any better, or made feel any more welcome by everyone who I talked to on my tour. I was even offered lunch at the factory cafe !!!!! You very rarely see hospitality like this ( and never from where I come from).

The long story short is I would have been just as welcome if I owned a nait 5i or an all in Statement System.

Gosh the tour was an eye opener as to why Naim do certain things the "Naim way" !! And Salisbury was a such a very beautiful area to spend some time exploring also.

A special thank you again to Mark for letting me take over DJ duties in the "sound lounge" for so long.

I could have stayed for the weekend in that room.

If any customer can organise a factory tour, it is most definitely recommended.

Regards,

Peter

Glad to hear you had such a good time. I’ve not had the pleasure myself yet, but hopefully one day.

+1 to that....not even sure how you go about organising a tour.

Is it through ones dealer or can you get in touch with Naim direct?

Normally it's organised by your dealer as a small group.

I've asked my dealer to put us on the next one. This is the standard protocol.

HH what is happening about a Naim forum tour...all gone quiet?

Naim have the list and Trevor has told me that it’s all in hand. As the Smiths say, these things take time.

HH, thanks for the reply, understood.

Hi HH, how will applicants discover if they have been successful in joining the trip?

From Nigel's list of forum names I put together a list of names and email addresses for Naim so they could invite.  The problem was trying to settle on a date.  some time in Feb was mooted at one point but I think that's probably not going to work due to so much happening just before and just after (and I'm not sure whether HH can make that date anyway). I've asked for an update but I don't think we'll get any new dates on the table until after everyone gets back from the Dusseldorf boat show and Princess Yacht partnership launch.

The week of the 15th is school half term week, so would not be a good choice....but that’s for Naim to decide

Thanks HH, and of course Richard.
