NDS/NDX/ND5XS with Accuphase amp?

Anyone tried Naim streamers with Accuphase ampplification ? Looking to try the new E650 but not sure about the synergy.
I really don't understand why its expected to have 'synergy' (whatever that might be) between Naim sources & another brand of amp, its design throughout is different to anything Naim produce. Looks like its up to you have a demo & make your own judgement, strongly suggest a home demo on your own speakers. Getting back to synergy, but this time visual synergy, they are just so un-synergistically pug ugly. (No reply required).
I don't think I've ever heard any amps from Accuphase, although they do tend to get pretty favourable reviews in some circles. However, as someone who started out his hi-fi life in the 70s, I quite like the 'retro' look of the Accuphase amps.
I also happened to see a program on the TV about the best loved dog breeds in the UK the other day. My recollection is that the pug comfortably made the top 10, so maybe the 'pug ugly' quote isn't entirely appropriate.

IMO naim is utilitarian in design. It’s far from pretty but look solid. Accuphase is beautiful in comparison. Yes I agree both designs do not go well on the same rack.

ok.
As my friend put it, it is hard to see a good union between a Japanese Princess with a British Rock Artist with pierced nose. ;-)

Ugly and lovable are entirely different things - and something/someone loved can become quite beautiful to that person. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. I happen to agree pugs are ugly, and so might most people involved in the Tv program cited, beauty not being the subject of the program
as for music playing synergy, if there truly is such a thing, just hear if it sounds right to you. I suspect that any ‘synergy’ is more likely to apply between power amp and speaker rather than anywhere else in the system.
I tried the E-470 with NDX/555PS/NDAC and it was not a good combination - too resolving and some treble sibilence. Though in the right system I think the E-470 (and by extension the E650) would be a terrific amp. Would definitely audition first.
