I finally bought this little device which claims to reduce packet errors when used in series between a computer/mobile and a USB DAC.
I must say, I can hear a change for the better, between both my laptops (windows and MAC) and my Chord Dave, also between my IPhone and Chord Mojo.
Music does sound more engaging due to a reduction in noise.
It isn't a lot of money, and for once, this little machine does make a difference without asking for a lot of money.
I wonder if anyone else discovered this little gem with a Chord Hugo, Mojo or Dave?

Interesting. I found one of these beneficial when i used to use my Mac Mini as a USB source. Conversely it didn't work so well with the Melco i now use (which is designed to be a low noise USB source). As you say, cheap devices so they are easy to experiment with (and send back if they don't work for you)

I use it on Dave’s input. Didn’t do a trial - the cost was so low that I simply got one because Rob Watts recommended it with Dave, saying that it improved his creation’s immunity from RF noise (note, I understood from RW’s postings that it is RF it helps filter the last vestiges of, rather than acting on jitter as its primary design intent).

Use one between a usb stick, holding my down loads, and my streamer excellent results, lower noise floor, great sound.
