anybody know how the naim upgrade programme works.

I think you pick up the phone to your friendly Naim dealer, tell them that you wish to upgrade to a Supercap and would like to arrange a demo. Take it from there...

Sorry I think you have misunderstood a bit.

The way "Naim upgrade programme" is used is not about swapping components it is about whatever you were powering with your hicap say a SNAXO or Superfine you can keep and get a supercap to power it without buying a new SNAXO or Superline so you can upgrade without replacing the whole crossover/phono amp in this case but Naim do not have a trade in programme, you have to do that with your dealer or eBay.
