Radio Paradise

Hi all
I see that Radio Paradise now has a lossless FLAC stream available. Are there any plans for this to be available via my 272 or is it already available and I'm such a dumbass I haven't worked it out yet?
Many thanks
Jay
It has been discussed at length on the forum as a quick search reveals. I think this is the last relevant email thread https://forums.naimaudio.com/to...adise-flac-streaming
As far as I know what is said there is still the case, but I don't listen to RP myself so haven't bothered to follow it all that closely.
best
David
I recently contacted Bill in RP to ask if he had plans to make the FLAC stream available on vTuner / Naim systems and he replied that although they were looking at solutions it would not be in the near future. I regularly listen to the FLAC stream via an ipad and airplay to my Atom
Thanks both, sorry I had searched but obviously not well enough!

At risk of sounding over-nerdy, have you compared Airplay/Chromecast?
No not yet, you need CC enabled apps though dont you? and that's if CC works on my Atom!! I'll experiment. AFAIK Airplay does some trickery with FLAC, converts it to ALAC I think I read, it does sound good though with RP - a lot punchier then the 320K native stream
hi all, with a Apple TV 4k you can listen in flac, and after you can use a old Apple TV and stream it, the old Apple TV i connected optical in my NDX , sounds much much better i must say
