NAC552 with superline

Currently I am a 272/555/300/Cd2x user all SL cabling with Sopra 2

i have also a analog rig consist of dr fickert woodpecker 2 / Lyra Delos mc / Brinkmann fienn phono stage with Cardas golden reference tone arm cable and rca interconnects

my plan is to sell 272 and get a 552 and use vinyl and cd as only souce

İt is a big step but i beileve that 552 is a Classic and my end game

ı might get a superline without any PS

I have a question of a superline performance with 552

will it be better than Brinkmann fienn? İ know it is a difficult question

What sort of cabling is needed for 552/superline?

Can I use superline with my current cables?

Is there any Delos/ superline user out there to advice me on their compatibility?

will I miss streaming?

And What should i expect of my free 555 with cd2x? Till nd555 comes along

You need a snaic for the superline, I’ve not heard the Brinkmann fienn. From a 552 aux was the second best way to power a superline for me, only beaten by a supercap via a Burndy, albeit by some margin.

I use a Supercap with mine and a HiLine into the 552. This is the last stop for me, too. Start with the Superline bare and you can add power supplies as your budget allows. They are easy to adjust, almost "tunable" with the loading plugs, and made to go together.

Will you miss streaming? Only you can answer that Emre.

Personally I much prefer to play my records and CDs and cannot stand streaming. Each to their own I guess. Your planned new system does sound like fun.
