How would the DR upgrade on the Supercap 2 improve the performance of my 252

I have a NAP300, 555PS and Supercap 2 which will all require a service in the not too distant future

All are non DR and the 300 was manufactured in 2005 whilst the two power supplies are from 2006. They were all purchased pre-loved so I am unsure how much use they have had but am pretty sure haven't been serviced since new. The 252 is a 2017 model so I am happy it will continue to perform faultlessly for many years to come.

The improvements the DR upgrade offers on the 300 (seems to be a no brainer) and 555 (used on an NDS and still weighing this one up) are well discussed on the forum but i don't know whether the Supercap would benefit from just a service or whether I would be wise to bite the bullet and consider the upgrade here too, has anyone experiences to share?

I'd think both a lot especially the DR upgrade. It gives a considerable boost to preamps.

I found the Supercap dr was well worth while for my old 252 and would recommend. My 555 (for NDS) is a 2006 so in need of a service so will probably get it dr’d - not cheap but I think the concencus is it is worthwhile.

The SC benefits just as much, and possibly even more than the 555PS, from a DR upgrade.

Thanks for sharing the experience, looks like I may be without a system for a few weeks but the pending improvements will give me something to look forward to.......
