NAS drive flac files

If i convert an MP3/4 file on NAS to Flac how long will it take Uniti Atom to see it ? When and how does the app update the library ?

I think it's more about how long it takes your NAS to reindec. The app should get the updated list from the NAS next time it connects.

It does not make sense to convert MP3/4 to FLAC. MP3 is a lossy compression system & in its conversion from the original lossless format to a lossy format a lot of data is discarded & this will not be restored by converting it back to lossless.
