Stageline discontinued?

Hi,
is it correct, that the Stageline is discontinued?
Evidence?
Not according to the main site or product history.
I thaught so, because of:
Moderated Post: Commercial link removed. Please don't post commercial links in the Hifi Corner. thanks
I may try and order one tomorrow but not from them. I have a plan for a MM stage so I’ll no doubt find out.
I think it’s just an old link you are using.

Urn Naim has a dwindling interest in Analogue but given the number of TTs being served up by the likes of Rega and Project I would have thought there would still be plenty of interest in the Stage, ine. Glad I’ve got my Superline
AFAIK the Stageline is still very much with us.
That are good news, because i think about buying one.
Today I’ve placed an order for a stageline N with BNC connectors.
On my 3rd stageline, now N, really like what it does. No obvious reason why it would be discontinued

Discontinuation, would be a really silly move as the Stageline is so popular.
Anyway RD has spoken "AFAIK the Stageline is still very much with us."

i hope Naim makes a better sounding Stageline-2 and for the N-version with 40 dB gain.
nearly everything else has been replaced, why not the stageline. it would be nice to have another option for MM carts.
it's a bit of a gap to upgrade to an MC and a superline (plus the required power supply), what is that close to 10-Grand?
with that kind of money invested you might as well buy a better table on top of it all.
as for me a hicap powered stageline with an MM cart is as far as i'll ever be able to go and that's too bad, Naim might be missing an opportunity.
i think there's some improvement somewhere between the two phono stages.
A supercap isn’t required for a superline, just a Naim preamp, same as for a stageline.

that is true, but it would be nice if the Stageline for example is sold with a simple and good enough power supply like the Isupply. Just as any other phonoamp.
Robiwan - surely for the "simple" and "good enough" Stageline power supply, most customers already have it? It's there as the powered AUX2 socket on their Naim pre-amp or Integrated amp. Surely, on that basis, its better to sell the Stageline without a power supply.
The Stageline is an excellent phono stage and hard to see how it could made any better without increasing the cost. Bit of course, you do need to ensure that you match it well with the right cartridges.
However, perhaps there is a gap between the Stageline and the Superline. The Prefix straddles that gap nicely in my opinion. A shame that had to be discontinued.
I am using my Stageline (my first ever in NaimWorld!) since a few weeks only, from the AUX2 of my SuperNait. Apart from making me able to turn the volume pot up to 11/12 with some records, which is surely beneficial to the pot's tracking, I like its sound a lot and have nothing to complain about. It is not hyper-analytical but very organic and, yes, musical. I have heard the Superline, and for once I think that for the domestic use of an owner of LPs just wishing to have his collection sounding the way we all were used to hear vinyl sound – organic and musical – a Stageline is even more recommended. Powering it a bit more with something could only bring further pleasure.
If I have bought a dedicated power supply, it's because I wanted the Stageline to be dual-rail powered, which IIRC the iSupply does not. Given the importance I have always attributed to power supplying, I don't care if the PS costs more than the Stageline (which I bought 2nd hand, but a mint 408***!). If anybody is interested in knowing the differences between a Stageline being powered single-rail (AUX2 socket of preamps and iSupply) or dual-rail (my next black box) I will gladly report on my impressions.
A good Sunday to all from grey, gloomy, rainy Italy.

Richard:
I do understand that a Stageline is mostly used in an all Naim set up and not with other brands. But connect it to the aux2 downgrades the sq potential of that particular Naim amp/pre-amp so you always need a seperate PS and since the affordable iSupply is very rare to find you always stick to a FC or HC and that makes it pricey regarding it's newprice of about 500 euro.
Why not start to build the Naim Prefix again ? It absolutely better than the Stageline and can´t be more expensive to manufacture..

Is it realy the case that connecting to aux2 downgrades the sq, i cant believe it?
I am asking, because i will connect it to the aux2 of my 252,

You're gonna be fine. I worry that you have forgotten this is about pleasure! ;-)
I tried my spare hicap on my superline in place of AUX2 power (sc on the 282) I took it off again. It lost some of its flow (maybe what Max means by organic) and the extra detail just got in the way.
Themrock, I use the Aux of my 252 to power my K Stageline and it works really well. I am a fan of the Stageline even though it is probably the main bottleneck in my system.

Yes it does, clearly audible. You loosse some attack/freshness on the other inputs. Sorry that's the way it is.
Digital is always second fiddle anyway so probably worth it. Every system has its compromises.
