Hi,

is it correct, that the Stageline is discontinued?

@Robiwan did you use the 252?

Because i did some research on the forum and found some interesting information. There should be no sq loose, if you use the 252.

https://forums.naimaudio.com/to...ered-by-252-or-hicap

"I did this comparison and actually found it was better on the 252 into the SC2. The 252 uses the full capabilities of the SC2 through it's Burndy, whereas the 282 only uses a couple of the circuits through the dual SNAIC connection.
You could ask Naim but I came to the conclusion that on the 252 the powered AUX socket for a stageline actually has a dedicated PS supply seperate from the main supplies. "

"

When I had a Stageline I preferred it powered from the 252 (which, as Geoff says, has a dedicated rail from the Supercap for that purpose) rather than a Hicap.

my experience of naim phono stages mirrors that of Bazz - I prefer 'em powered directly from the preamp. my prefix runs from 252."

My stageline arrived at the dealers with 2 BNC plugs to solder on the arm cable, however it had RCA sockets, can I blame the Russians? Lets try that again, fortunately I’m not in a hurry.

Have you got it yet? And are you as pleased with it as I am with mine?
