Last update: Problem with 'unsatisfying midd tones’ after service and upgrade NAP300 to DR

Posted by: Olivier1961 on 18 March 2018

Hello,

Last December I placed a topic about my ‘ unsatisfying sound experience' after service and DR upgrade my NAP300.

These are the results,

1/ One of the XLR sockets on the 300 appeared to have a bad contact:

- One XLR-socket had indeed a bad contact so Naim replaced both XLR sockets.  Thanks NAIM - top service!

2/ After the repair the 300DR went to Cymbiosis for a 'sound check':

- Cymbiosis tested my NAP300DR and they concluded that the sound is (now) as it should be. Outstanding service by Cymbiosis!!  Thanks Wayne and team for the support and I hope you like the Dutch Farmers Cheese

Now, and in combination with SupercapDR, the DR sounds great again....a big improvement and a joy to listen!

Thanks forum for the positive comments and helpful suggestions!

Great news, Olivier. It really does pay to have a good dealer and Cymbiosis are the best I’ve had the pleasure of using.
